What do you like most about your local community?

My local community has an inviting country appeal, while being not to far away from the city.

What do you dislike most about your local community?

Sometimes hoons speed in the streets at night time, creating an uncertainty when driving later in the evening.

What is the first thing you would do if you were mayor?

As mayor i would ensure that the play equipment in the local parks are covered with appropriate shade material because they are way to hot in the summer here to use.

What is your favourite café or restaurant?

Matteo's Pizza, on Kalamunda Road! They are so yummy and gourmet, its strange to have something so great in such an out of town place.

What is a good night out for you?

A good night out is a good night in, with my parents and my daughter. Either watching a movie, reading a book, or spending time with each other.

Who is the most impressive person you have met?

The most impressive people i have met are my two older brothers, they have both moved over east now though. One is an aspiring musician and the other has recently left the RAAF and begun modeling.

What is your favourite movie?

My favourite movie of all time is Forrest Gump.

What is your favourite local shop or small business?

IGA, High Wycombe. The shopping complex is made up of several smaller stores, the people there are always friendly and make time to help you.

What do you like to do when you are not working/studying?

I like to sped time with my daughter and my parents. Either walking the dog or watching a movie together or any other sort of activity. The Kalamunda markets are a great idea and close by.

Can you share with us one of your happiest memories?

Strangely, one of my happiest memories is being driven in the car by my eldest brother Sam, and our middle brother Fred was in the front passenger seat. We weren't doing anything in particular, just driving around, when we realised that this was the first time "Us Kid's" had been in a car together with out mum or dad. We used to imagine what that would be like when we were growing up. We would sit in the car and make up scenarios of where we would go, and imagine what it would be like to change the gears and actually release the hand brake (Mum would always remind us never to do this without her knowledge).

I wish all shopping trolleys stayed where they are supposed to be and that's in the shopping centres not littering the roads and suburbs. They are a blight on the landscape. Especially where I live.

What I like most about my community is the peacefulness and tranquility and being subltely greeted by the joyful chirping of birds each morning. This is truly paradise.
