What do you like most about your local community?

To have first go at breathing in the fresh clean air straight off the ocean

What do you dislike most about your local community?

The amount of rubbish being left on our beaches and at the brilliant picnic areas which have been provided on the beach fronts.

What is the first thing you would do if you were mayor?

Make local elections compulsory As a community we enjoy lots of the Council's hard work. I think that we should all be apart of the decisions that are made regarding who is elected. If voting was compulsory we would take more interest in candidates and what they are wanting to offer the community.

What is your favourite café or restaurant?

Recently went to the Beach Pit at Hillarys Marina and had a wonderful meal

What is a good night out for you?

Watching the sunrise from one of the many brilliant spots along our amazing coast line and having dinner after.

Who is the most impressive person you have met?

A school Chaplain. Most supportive and impressive person I have ever met. According to the terms of this site I cannot name them

What is your favourite movie?

Harry Potter movies

What is your favourite local shop or small business?

Piccasso Framers in Sorrento

What do you like to do when you are not working/studying?

Photography and painting

Can you share with us one of your happiest memories?

Spending lots of time on Rottnest Island. My father was in the army and stationed on the island for several years. As a child I have brilliant memories of exploring places and swimming at the amazing beaches. As an adult I still love the place and all the changes that have happened. Rottnest is such an unique place packed full of history and the best thing is that it's only 50 minutes away from our coast.

What i love about my community is the amount of people who are really friendly and supportive of one another. I also like when you're out walking or even just out the front of your place you can have a friendly chat with surrounding neighbours.

What i also love about my community is that at night time it is most peaceful and i'm able to get that perfect night's sleep. Sometimes when there are parties you can't get much sleep and that can be annoying, but hey... what can i say, young people love to party.

I've recently just finished school, but am working until 28th november. In my spare time i enjoy going for a run, working out in my home, going out shopping but also having a relaxing time at home.

What i really like about living in Rockingham is the opportunity to live so close to the beach and enjoy the friendliness of the people, the marine life and the fantastic lifestyle which so many people take for granted. I Think people who live in Rockingham are the only ones who can relate to why this is such an amazing place as holidayers and passers through only see Rockingham for it's face value or what they've heard through the media about vandalism, domestic violence and graffiti. The fact of the matter is any of Rockingham's bad points are far outweighed by it's good points and people should stop listening to stereotypical rubbish and see Rockingham for what really is. Rockingham is an absolute paradise and should be credited for it's amazing people and fabulous lifestyle.

The most amazing thing about Rockingham is the rare occasion we're fortunate enough to see the dolphins at play.
The things I dislike are endless which is a pity.I can remember as a child holidaying here with the family, the beaches were pristine the water was the cleanest in the metro area, you could see small fish darting about on the bottom but no-more. Now were exposed to odours, pollution, vandalism, graffitti, crime and we're told this is progress.
